The aged plastic trim, bumpers, and moldings were restored using Superior Products’ restoration dressing, reviving a uniform black appearance without shine or streaks.
5. Sealant and Paint Protection
The freshly corrected paint was sealed with a synthetic polymer wax, providing long-term protection and hydrophobic properties for daily use and car show presentation.
6. Wheels and Tires
The period-correct wheels were carefully cleaned and polished. Tires were dressed using a satin-finish tire gel to match the vehicle’s vintage aesthetic.
Interior Detailing Process
1. Deep Vacuum and Compressed Air Cleaning
All carpeting, floor mats, and upholstery were vacuumed thoroughly, including under seats and in tight corners. Compressed air was used to dislodge dust from air vents and hard-to-reach seams.
