Luxury Car Detailing RI provides precision detailing for both high-end and daily-use vehicles. This Hyundai Palisade was brought in for a comprehensive full-service detail. The owner requested a full rejuvenation of the exterior and interior to restore shine, remove buildup from everyday use, and improve the vehicle’s overall appearance. This SUV required deep cleaning, protective treatment, and fine attention to detail to meet our standards and the client’s expectations.
Exterior Detailing Process
1. Pre-Wash and Surface Prep
The Palisade was pre-treated with a thick foam soak to soften and lift surface dirt. We followed with a rinse and chemical decontamination process to remove iron and tar from road exposure.
2. Two-Bucket Hand Wash
We used Meguiar’s Gold Class Shampoo and premium microfiber mitts in a two-bucket system to avoid introducing scratches or swirl marks during the wash phase.
3. Paint Decontamination and Clay Bar Treatment
The vehicle underwent a full-body clay bar treatment to remove bonded contaminants and leave the paint surface smooth to the touch, ready for polishing and protection.
4. Paint Sealant and Protection
A polymer-based sealant from Superior Products was applied to add gloss, repel water, and protect against UV rays and road salt. This step helps maintain a clean, slick finish with minimal maintenance.
5. Wheels, Tires, and Trim
Wheels were thoroughly cleaned using a safe wheel cleaner and soft brushes. Tires were dressed in a low-sheen, no-sling gel for a clean, refined look. Exterior plastic trim was conditioned and restored for uniform depth and color.
Interior Detailing Process
1. Full Vacuum and Interior Dust-Out
We conducted a full vacuum across all interior surfaces, including under seats and deep crevices. Dust was removed from vents, dash seams, and console areas with compressed air and soft detailing brushes.
2. Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning
All floor mats and carpeted areas were shampooed and extracted using an interior-safe solution from Superior Products. This removed embedded dirt, sand, and stains accumulated from regular use.
3. Dashboard, Console, and Plastics Cleaning
Plastic surfaces were cleaned with a low-residue APC (all-purpose cleaner), then protected with a non-greasy interior dressing to reduce fading and dust buildup.
4. Glass and Screen Polishing
Interior and exterior glass were cleaned with Meguiar’s streak-free glass cleaner. Touchscreens and glossy panels were gently cleaned and polished with anti-static microfiber cloths.
5. Final Interior Touches
All high-touch surfaces including cupholders, door handles, buttons, and storage compartments were cleaned and sanitized to complete the process.
